Yes! Jesus Loves Me!

"Jesus loves me this I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to him belong,
They are weak, but he is strong."

I'm sure many of you have at one point or another heard this song in your life. I know it's a children's song and it doesn't seem to have much depth to it. Some people might easily misconstrue it as a way to "brainwash" children. It popped into my head earlier this week and I realized that there is much more to this song.

Loving One Another

I wanted to post this a couple of weeks ago but have not gotten back to this post due to Thanksgiving and being sick that last few days. In light of recent events I feel like this might needed now more than ever. This post is about a simple Truth that I think needs to be emphasized on a regular basis. This simple Truth is: Everyone on this planet is worth your time and love. Whether they are your annoying neighbor down the street or your identical twin brother.

Friendship: Do or Do Not, There Is No Try

Here's the thing... I recently saw  something on the internet that said "I'm too amazing, beautiful, and I have too much to offer to wait for you to notice me". It was something around those lines and then I saw another quote picture thingy that was on Facebook saying something about how "There are thousands of people on this planet and I don't need to waste time on you." You get the idea. Well I'm here to say something different. People take work. I know it's mostly talking about waiting for a romantic interest but it still creates a negative attitude that can be picked up. So how about we try to brighten up this view a little?
